Enovis Knee OA E-Workshop Based on AAOS Sept 2021 Guideline
Based on Management of Osteoarthritis of the Knee (Non-Arthroplasty, Non-Pharmacological) evidence base guideline, this e-workshop will include strong to moderate recommendations: Lateral Wedge Insoles, Braces, Supervised Exercise, Neuromuscular Training, Self-Management, Patient Education, Weight Loss Intervention, Manual Therapy, Massage, Laser Treatment, TENS, Shockwave...etc.
Various International Knee OA Guidelines, all emphasize the importance of knee joint movement, functional exercises for the conservative management of knee OA and post TKR rehabilitation. However, pain, joint stiffness, knee instability, kinesiophobia make it difficult for conventional exercises programs to be effective. Motion Is Medicine approach encourages Optimal Loading exercises. Optimal Loading is load applied to structures that maximizes physiological adaptation which is important for holistic management of knee OA.
